Amy Hexley

BMus, APFS

I completed a music degree in 2000, then went to work for my dad who was an independent Financial Adviser. Thus started my career in financial services. It was a surprise to me that I enjoyed the job and the learning so much. I began to sit financial services exams and improve my qualifications along with experience. Prior to starting Destination Wealth, I spent most of my career working as a paraplanner. That meant supporting a Financial Adviser, carrying out research on behalf of clients and working with the Adviser to create recommendations.

My favourite part of my job as a Chartered Financial Planner is getting to know clients. I love building relationships, listening to people and hearing their stories. Your money is part of your story and I’m here to help you use it to create abundance – whatever that means to you.
